Get to know Ridgemoor
Ridgemoor is on the southeast side of Grand Rapids, around streets such as Inverness, Ridgecroft, and Mulford. Search boundaries can vary, so let me know if there’s a particular street you’re interested in.
Calvin University is nearby on Burton Street. You also have restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping close by. That location is one of the things I like about this part of Grand Rapids.

What I like about Ridgemoor
I like being close to Grand Rapids Christian Middle School, Grand Rapids Christian High School, and Calvin University. And the ravine that runs through parts of Ridgemoor brings some nature to city living. It’s a nice combination.
If you’re drawn to a home along the ravine, we’ll walk the yard and talk about the slope, drainage, and upkeep as well as the view.

Grand Rapids Christian schools and Calvin
Grand Rapids Christian Middle School is at 2036 Chesaning Drive SE, the high school is at 2300 Plymouth Avenue SE, and Calvin University is at 3201 Burton Street SE. If a school is part of your move, check directly with it about admissions and enrollment.

Coffee, dining, and shopping nearby
Breton Village offers shopping and everyday errands, including D&W Fresh Market. Café de Miro, at 1878 Breton Road SE, is one nearby option for coffee and a meal. You can stop for breakfast, coffee, or a meal while you’re exploring the neighborhood.

Ridgemoor Swim Club
Ridgemoor Swim Club is at 2435 Inverness Road SE, with seasonal swimming, lessons, and a swim team. Membership is separate from owning a home here. Contact the club for current openings, fees, and programs.
Calvin’s trails and native gardens
The Calvin Ecosystem Preserve & Native Gardens offers more than a mile of walking trails through forest and wetlands. The entrance is at 1750 East Beltline Avenue SE. Check Calvin’s visitor information before you go. The preserve is for walking and does not allow dogs or bicycles.

Ridgemoor Park Montessori
Ridgemoor Park Montessori is a Grand Rapids Public Schools theme school at 2555 Inverness Road SE. Contact GRPS about the application process and openings. Living nearby does not guarantee admission.
